Calcium For More Than Bones



Ever since we are kids we are told the benefits of Calcium and how important it is for strong bones. We are persuaded by our elders to keep our daily intake of milk to maximum as it is the most common source of Calcium.
 
One thing we don’t know until at a later age is that Calcium is also has a very positive effect on our skin. Calcium deficiency has shown to cause irritation, wrinkles and dryness in the skin. Some studies have even shown that Calcium reduces the risk of skin cancer.
